I baked a cake

So today was 2 of my friends from churches birthdays. So what did I do? I baked a cake! I split it in half so that they each had a side... :) they loved it and it tasted really good! :) Barbara likes to garden so I filled her side with flowers and on Bob's side I put a tennis court with a tennis net made out of melted chocolates because he likes to play tennis. What do you think?! ;)

Truck Day Party

Red Sox Truck Day was Saturday so what did we do? We had a Party!!!! :) We invited ourselves over to our cousins house and ate Hot Dogs and watched a DVD of the World Series... We had a blast! I made cupcakes and cookies for the party... (with my sisters help) Here is what they looked like! (I did them in an hour....)

Disclamer- I did not make this... My stepmom did.. :) She did an amazing job didn't she?!



This was the trial cake... well what was left of it... We ate most of it :)


This is the full view of the cake... Don't mind the crazy background those hadn't been frosted yet. The Top Tier- with the bow is I think to kinda represent what I did on my Birthday Cake last year.... But I don't know! :) I love it! The Tiara(see close up below) has a 16 on it to represent my age. (EEK! :o) The Middle Tier represents my syndrome- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. The last tier represents my love for music and LIME GREEN! :) THANKS STACEY for the amazing cake!

Wow so a year without posting! Amazing...I think I havn't posted because of a few reasons- 1- no one reads this, 2- haven't been able to remember my password 3- see number 1. What eventful year it has been....just to name a few things I graduated MS and am now in HS, I have been forced to quit gymnastics, and I have decorated cakes much more seriously then in the past. I think I shall turn this blog into things about cakes. I won't even ask if anyone cares because NO ONE READS THIS...I think I am ok with that but I like comments on things so I am not sure. If someone actuatly does read this- you should tell me......Then maybe I will take this more seriously! :) My friend just started an awesome blog called how to be a winner....It is amazing!

SO back to cakes....I am a self taught cake decorator who loves to decorate. I hate to cook but love to bake. My family is Gluten Free so I don't get to bake much for my self very often but I try to do it anyway. I love baking for my friends at Church and it makes me feel good to know that I get to practice while making others a snack! :) I'll post my latest creation soon....I made my own Birthday cake.....Warning/Disclaimer- it is not pefect where as it is my first time using just fondant...but it looks pretty good I must say...We will see how it tastes tonight. For now-
