School Book + Duct Tape =????!!!!

So what do you get when you add A school book and Duct tape together? No not one hot mess- but a awesomly covered book! I had paper bags on my books and one of them was VERY ripped and since I am lazy and didn't want to recover it I just duct taped it.

****IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! DO NOT DUCT TAPE TO THE BOOK!!!!!**** :)

What You Need:
-A Book Covered in a Paper Bag
- Duct Tape
-Scissors

My Math Book is ready for a make-over
Paint Splatter Duct Tape

Take the duct tape and start at the top. Take a piece of tape andcover from one end to the other. Keep going until you finish. Yes it is really that easy!

The finished book!
Chemistry and Math Book!!!

My Sketch book was startying to fall aprat so I duct taped it too!
A peek inside to show you it was a sketch book...

Have fun!!!!!!!!

Finally!

So I FINALLY got nail polish to stick to my nails! :) Yay!!!!! Wahooo! haha! I am so EXCITED! I decided to try again because I was tired of the chili's. Most people don't walk around with Chili's on their nails... :p I pondered over it for a while and then decided to try my black polish out. I then put white on with a dotting tool.

Don't mind the polish on the skin- I cleaned it up... more
Tada!
Close up!

So what do you think?! :) I love that I don't have to worry about the colors clashing with anything I wear because Black and White go with almost everything!:)

Nail Painting

So... I love to paint my nails... But am I good at it no! My nails don't see to like nail polish as much as I do.Hmmmm... I wonder why?! So the other day I decided to see if I could try and paint my nails so that they actuatly looked good.

First of all, here how my nail normally look after I paint them.
Aren't they pretty?! :(

Here is a close up of my fingers so that you can see how awful they are... :(
I practiced painting my nails-can you believe that!? So I started by using my left hand because I am a righty to "paint" my fingers with a pen cap...
Next I used a yellow highlighter to see how steady my fingers were... I did a decient job... Yay me!
The next day I decided to paint my nails with little chili peppers because we had a church Chili cook-off and I wanted to be festive. (Below is a close up)
Isn't it really cute!?!? :)

So- how did it turn out?....still awful! I was really disapointed because I had orginially thought it was my nail polish so for my 16th birthday I asked for new nail polish and I got it. I tried the new polish-didn't make a real difference... I then went to church and asked my youth leader, who is a nurse, if there is collagen in your fingers. (I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which means you have faulty collagen- collagen is the glue that holds your glue together- So no finger nail glue=nothing for nail polish to stick to) So that is why It doesn't stick.

So What am I going to do? Keep trying. :)Keep Swimming! :)

Look for a review soon on the tools I use.

bIRTHDAY cAKE

Disclamer- I did not make this... My stepmom did.. :) She did an amazing job didn't she?!

This was the trial cake... well what was left of it... We ate most of it :)

This is the full view of the cake... Don't mind the crazy background those hadn't been frosted yet. The Top Tier- with the bow is I think to kinda represent what I did on my Birthday Cake last year.... But I don't know! :) I love it! The Tiara(see close up below) has a 16 on it to represent my age. (EEK! :o) The Middle Tier represents my syndrome- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. The last tier represents my love for music and LIME GREEN! :) THANKS STACEY for the amazing cake!

I'm 16!!!!! I proceeded to wear the crown around for the next 3 days... (even to the drs in Boston... :) needless to say I made friends)
