So... I love to paint my nails... But am I good at it no! My nails don't see to like nail polish as much as I do.Hmmmm... I wonder why?! So the other day I decided to see if I could try and paint my nails so that they actuatly looked good.
First of all, here how my nail normally look after I paint them.
Aren't they pretty?! :(
Here is a close up of my fingers so that you can see how awful they are... :(
I practiced painting my nails-can you believe that!? So I started by using my left hand because I am a righty to "paint" my fingers with a pen cap...
Next I used a yellow highlighter to see how steady my fingers were... I did a decient job... Yay me!
The next day I decided to paint my nails with little chili peppers because we had a church Chili cook-off and I wanted to be festive. (Below is a close up)
Isn't it really cute!?!? :)
So- how did it turn out?....still awful! I was really disapointed because I had orginially thought it was my nail polish so for my 16th birthday I asked for new nail polish and I got it. I tried the new polish-didn't make a real difference... I then went to church and asked my youth leader, who is a nurse, if there is collagen in your fingers. (I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which means you have faulty collagen- collagen is the glue that holds your glue together- So no finger nail glue=nothing for nail polish to stick to) So that is why It doesn't stick.
So What am I going to do? Keep trying. :)Keep Swimming! :)
Look for a review soon on the tools I use.
